This native shrub isfound naturally on the west coast from Raglan to about Greymouth and from East Cape to Oamaru on the east coast.
A reasonably dense fast evergreen growing shrub or small tree 2-4m. This makes it ideal for a low hedge especially on dry exposed sites good drainage is important.
