This compact native Hebe has large dark green oval glossy leaves. Its growth is compact but clip after flowering to maintain bushy growth
The large magenta flowers which are mainly in the Summer to late Autumn
It grows well in coastal or windswept areas but dislikes heavy frosts.
Now rare and endangered in the wild it was found in the North Island along the western coasts on sea cliffs and places with similar climates.
