A hardy evergreen shrub with a rich dense foliage and upright growth In Autumn early winter it has pretty, double white flowers with mauve pink shading on the reverse outer petal. It is a hardy, long living shrub that can grow into a small tree. It looks great in a feature pot and also makes a wonderful hedge or espalier against a wall at a spacing of 60 cm – 1 m apart. Like all camellias it prefers a slightly acidic soil
Grows to 2.5 m x 2.5 m at a rate of about 75 cm per year. It can be trimmed.
