Hybrid cross between Raspberry and Blackberry.
The self fertile white flowers in spring are followed by large dusky purple-red berries, excellent aromatic flavour. The receptacle is left behind when picked.
Plants are best grown with support from a boundary fence or similar as they have a trailing habit, or you can try in a planter box against a wall, tied down the thormless canes with wire for support. Ideal in smaller gardens. 2-3 metres
High in Vitamins C, A, and E, flavonoids and a fairly good source of essential fatty acids.
Ideal for fresh summer fruit salads and making juice. Ready Mid-summer.
